Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Battle Attack Game Review and Giveaway

If you have been following me for a while, you probably know that we are a family of  Star Wars fans.  Recently, my hubby and kids have also become addicted to Angry Birds and our five year old has been begging for the Angry Birds Star Wars battle games. We told him that he could save up his money to buy the Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Attack Battle Game that he wanted but luckily for him I was approached by Hasbro and asked if I would like to do a review and giveaway for this set.

The look on my son’s face when he saw what was delivered was priceless!  He ripped open the box within a few seconds and we set the game up.  The Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Battle Attack game includes 21 blocks and 8 other pieces which once stacked create the At-AT, a lightsaber launcher and 12 Angry Birds Star Wars figures including Luke Skywalker in Echo Base Gear (bird figure) and an AT-AT Commander (pig figure) which are exclusive to this set.  This pack also came with a special code so you can unlock Angry Birds Star Wars in-app content.

Once you have the AT-AT set up,  you simply launch the bird figures at it using the lightsaber launcher to knock it down!  Like the app, this game is equally addictive and my hubby had to get in on the action too!  Since we have received this game, my son has played a lot. He even brings the figures up to bed with him and keeps them on his bookshelf headboard to ensure that his two year old brother doesn’t get into them.

The bird figures included are Luke Skywalker (Hoth Pilot), Luke Skywalker (Echo Base Gear), Han Solo and Rebel Trooper (Echo Base Gear). There is also an R2-D2 egg figure.  The pig figures that are included are Darth Vader, AT-AT Driver, AT-AT Commander, two Snowtroopers and two Stormtroopers.  This set is for ages 5 and up and some adult assembly is required in order to set up the AT-AT.  As with any toys that launch, do not aim at eyes or face and do not modify any part of the set.
